Week 7: Image Perception and Composition
This week we worked with different Image perceptions and composition.
Title: Texture from manmade material
Technique: Photography
Tools: Panasonic DC-FZ0

I took this photo outside of my apartment building. It is concrete made by people, painted in yellow. I found the combination of the color and texture very eye-catching and interesting. This is something I could see myself using as a background for an art project.
Title: Texture from nature
Technique: Photography
Tools: Panasonic DC-FZ0

I stepped outside in a tropical garden near me, and found these really beautiful leaves. Not only was the color really fascinating, but the patters were really intriguing. The thought the detail and pattern in the object was mesmerizing.

Title: Small to big
Technique: Photography
Tools: Panasonic DC-FZ0

I took this photo with my group in class. We used broccoli and lettuce to create a forest type of landscape for the small dinosaurs. It was hard to get the effect. The dinosaurs doesn't look as big as I hoped, but I think we achieved making the broccoli look bigger than it actually is.
Reflection:
The texture photos was something that I really enjoyed doing. I found it hard to create the optical illusions and unfortunately was not able to do the light painting.
